You can help a child in Hancock County receive a priceless experience!

PLUG INTO NATURE SUMMER CAMP AT NAMELESS CREEK YOUTH CAMP

“Plug into Nature” is a five-day summer day camp experience for incoming 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade
students of Hancock County who would not otherwise be able to attend camp. Campers will
receive an appreciation and enjoyment of the outdoors. They will be exposed to the beauty of
nature and learn to work in teams for fun and activities that do not include modern-day technology.

The camp is scheduled for July 7-11, 2025

This camp will provide activities such as sports and games, water activities, arts and crafts, and
leadership. The campers will learn how to take care of themselves and nature by having
presentations by a local fire department, learning about healthy eating habits, learning personal
fitness from a professional fitness instructor, making nature art with a local artist, and learning
about wild edibles from a professional naturalist! The “Plug into Nature” camp will allow youth to
unplug from the technologies they have come to rely on. The activities and environment will open
the eyes of the campers to the resources around them. In addition to benefiting the campers, it will
allow several local high school and college students to be leaders as camp counselors. They will
serve as a role model for the local youth. The counselors will be mentored by our PIN camp

director, Brittany Bennett, a teacher at New Palestine High School.

The cost for Nameless Creek Youth Camp to provide a high-quality outdoor STEM-based camp is
$190 per camper. We will provide scholarships to campers who would otherwise not be able to
afford to attend camp. These students will be identified by school counselors and social workers.
We will offer those students a camp application with registration open now. Students with financial
need will receive a $165 full scholarship and will only pay a $50 (a discount of $140) registration fee to hold their spot.
The remaining spots for camp will open on April 1 on a first-come-first-served basis and these
campers will pay only $140, with the remainder of the cost being covered by our generous

sponsors.

We hope that you will be a PIN Camp Sponsor this summer.  Please complete the form above to become a sponsor.
